Battery back up for lift & rise recliners only

This is an extra battery back up which is generally fitted inside the recliner chair so that if there is a prolonged power cut the recliner can still be operated for around 30 cycles. There is of course also an emergency back-up facility fitted inside the transformer box which is two 9 volt batteries that should bring the chair back to sitting position at least once.

We advise that this battery back up motor is only required if you have regular power cuts or are very concerned about being stranded in the recliner if there is a power outage.
